Cory has discovered a brand new wildling. They show up all the time. Lost teenagers scared and weak. This one was a mountain lion a second ago, but after collapsing onto some garbage, turned back into a young boy. He was unconscious and had no clothes and when he woke up was going to be hungry. Cory went inside and found a Hannah Montana T shirt, a hoodie and some shorts. After the boy woke up and got dressed Cory took the young boy who’s name was Josh to a restaurant to get something to eat. He told Josh what he was and what he needs to do when he goes home. Cory was happy to help out yet another new Wildling from being captured and experimented on.
Character Tattoo
Here we have the main protagonist Josh and the face of a mountain lion tattoo. The tattoo is white and gray exposing the cat’s nose, mouth, eyes and face. It takes up a large part of Josh’s arm. Josh is a high school student who finds himself with the ability to shape shift into a mountain lion whever he chooses. Even when Josh is in human form, although hr appears human he still carries animal traits. This causes Josh to never forget about the cougar within him. Maybe Josh felt he should take it a step further and tattoo what he looks like beneath his skin, ON TO his skin. Or maybe he wanted other Wildling animal shape shifters to know he is one of them.

“I’m feeling like the government’s treatment of Wildlings is basic discrimination. The way the FBI tazered me after I had already surrendered was unacceptable, are they allowed to do that? It hasn’t been one Wildling yet that has hurt another Wildling or another person, so why is the FBI and whoever else acting so aggresive towards us? I know we can be alarming/scary but locking most of us away for study or whatever it is will not work out. They are lucky it is just happening to teenagers and we are not well connected or there would likely be more resistance and demanding of rights. Shape shifter or not we are all people and should be treated as such.”

My character Josh tells us early on that him, Marina and Desmond are some type of band. Josh plays a bass guitar..so I chose a bass guitar. He used to play with his friend Dillion, who commited suicide after finding out he was a wildling. It never shows Josh playing his guitar after that, but I imagine he still does. He’s apparently pretty good seeing as how even ChainGang was aware of his band’s existence one way or another.
The second picture contains a cougar, because Josh is a Wildling. Wildlings in this story are just basically animal shapeshifters that transform at will. Josh is one of them and his special animal is indeed a cougar (mountain lion) Josh inherits many mountain lion traits even in his human forn such as enhanced hearing, seeing, smelling and other senses. This makes the cat inside him very much a part of Josh just as much as his passions or nationality.
The third picture on the bottom left shows many skateboard decks. Josh and his two best friends are constantly skating around. It’s how he gets home, goes to school and gets around town. He seems to be the best at skating since Marina is more of a surfer and Desmond just isn’t as good. He also has alot more then one board.
Josh’s mom is Jamaican but the author doesn’t out right say it. Josh mentions that he’s mixed and even earlier Josh describes how his mother looks. After this he finally mentions to Desmond he’s Jamaican making his Mom from Jamaica. That would also explain his little dreds but not his father’s absence.
” Under My Skin” Character IG
This Instagram is for Josh, the main protagonist of my novel “Under My Skin”. His bio says some facts about him like his bestfriend’s names and that he’s a skater.
The top right picture is the newest because Dillion, Josh’s buddy, died only recently. Even though Josh didn’t know Dillion as well as Marina or Desmond, he’s somehow really torn up when he hears of his suicide. I feel like if Josh had an Instagram he really would post something like this for himself and the community.
The second picture is just a selfie of Josh’s bestfriend Marina. Josh, Marina and Desmond are inseparable and that’s why Marina is on his Instagram.
Marina also claimed to like Josh at the begining of the story, and might mean that she uploaded it herself instead of Josh.
The third picture is someone on a a ramp at the skate park. It is most likely Josh since Desmond was already shown to not be that great at skating.
Josh is a regular skater and his skateboard is his main form of transportation. All three friends own skateboards, but I guess Josh is the best since Marina is more of a surfer.
The two bottom left picture is Desmond taking another selfie in Josh’s bathroom and yet another skateboard.
Perhaps this one is Desmond’s. It would be a lot like Desmond to hack Josh’s IG and post a picture of his skateboard and then hiself.
